I was born in Bucharest Romania. After graduating "Tonitza" Visual Arts High school with a degree in Graphic Art, I received my MFA degree in Costume and Scenic Design/Scenography from the Academy of Arts "N. Grigorescu."

I began my professional career as Assistant Production Designer and Costumer in film productions at the Bucharest Film Studios.

After immigrating to the USA, I settled in Los Angeles and continued to pursue a career as a Costume and Scenic Designer, initially in film and later in the theatre.

My designs have been seen both locally and in regional theatres across the US, at South Coast Repertory, Denver Center Theatre, Hollywood Bowl, Cleveland Play House, A Noise Within Theatre, Asolo Repertory, Milwaukee Repertory, Alliance Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, Chautauqua Theatre Co., The Old Globe, Georgia Shakespeare, Antaeus Theatre, among others.

Many of my designs garnered various awards and nominations both in So. California and regionally. A couple of years ago I received the LADCC lifetime award for outstanding achievement in theatrical design.

I am a resident artist at A Noise Within Theatre in Pasadena, CA. and a member of the USA Local 829 and UAP the Union of Visual Artists in Romania.
